Wikis make collaboration easy
A wiki is a website that can be easily edited by anyone you share it with -- if you can type a letter and surf the internet, then you have the skills to edit and manage a wiki. It's that simple! Click here to see a sample of a wiki used for collaboration.

Bring your camp community into the process
Wikis are ideal for brainstorming or planning, particularly in the offseason when staff members and camper are typically spread across the USA or even the world.

You control who has access to your wikis
That's right, you control who can see and edit your wiki! Create one wiki in January for campers, so they can help with the really important decisions -- like themes for the dance -- which will keep them excited during the cold winter months.Create another wiki in March so your staff members can share insight on staff orientation/training. Or create yet another wiki so that parents can help plan an offseason event for your camp community. There are many ways to use wikis to help you engage your camp community all year long.

Involve your camp community as often as you'd like
You can use the powerful collaborative potential of wikis on a regular basis through a standing wiki that creates a running archive of your camp, or create a wiki to address one specific issue on which you'd like to gain feedback and involve your community.
